A fun class full of facts about the amazing world of illuminated manuscripts from the 13th - 15th centuries. I came up with a tangle based on things I had seen in some of my favourite books on the subject back in 2021 and it's taken some time coming to fruition. This class will focus mainly on sharing the step outs and different variations of the tangle, which I have called 'Eval' for the latter part of the word 'Mediaeval' (and not for any 'evil' reason)! It's a lovely organic, flexible pattern that I think you will enjoy using in many different ways. As well as the usual Zentangle kit, I recommend some watercolours in red/pink, blue, green and brown. I will use Derwent Inktense and some quality watercolours but please use whatever you have. In addition, you will need some gold watercolour. We will make some practice of the tangle and note making on or in a notebook/normal paper and then use a white Phi Zentangle tile or similar to create a tile together using the pattern and other Zentangle tangles.
