ZenBird Club Whimsical Birds

ZenBird Club is a monthly, fundraising meeting designed to raise money to support people in need, particularly children and refugees. It was set up by Beate Winkler (@beabea_design) and Oswaldo Bursan (@erix702000_czt) in April this year and you can see information about previous workshops they have run on the ZenBirdClub page on Facebook and Instagram (@zenbirdclub)

Our Zentangle community can come together to bring hope to those whose lives have been shattered by events in their homeland. We can do this through our art, our tangling and our love, focusing on the bird as a symbol of the freedom we wish for each other.

Please join me in this fun, fundraising class, creating some cute and whimsical birds.

MATERIALS:  watercolour paint (any) and watercolour paper.  Your usual Zentangle kit, including white pencil and white Gelly Roll. You can also add some sparkly details with a gold and other sparkly pens. 

I'll show you how to create birds of character from splashes of colour that we can set free to fly across the world, spreading some love and happiness wherever they go.
